Puppet Showplace Slam #Brookline

The Puppet Showplace Slam is a much-loved Boston tradition that brings together amateurs, professionals, and emerging artists from across the region to showcase the finest in short-form puppetry arts. We aim to present a variety of puppetry styles and feature work that ranges from thought-provoking to mind-blowing.

DETAILS: Our slam aspires to be a welcoming place where adults can experience and get psyched up about puppetry.  In the coming year, our slams will also interlaced with our adult classes, and we hope these lines of programming will support one another.   It also looks like we will be able to offer an evening of adult puppetry performance - whether it be a slam, a HMPD screening, or a long-form adult show  - during every remaining month of 2011 and hopefully into 2012.
